Dear Cromer Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
My name is Jessica Reeder, and I am so happy to be returning for my third year as your principal. Walking through these doors always reminds me of how lucky I am to be a part of this wonderful community. At Cromer, we are focused on cultivating a learning environment that fosters respect, collaboration, and kindness. Within this supportive space, we hold our students to high expectations because we know what they are truly capable of achieving. By challenging them and providing the right encouragement, we ensure our students will succeed at a high level.
We want school to be a place where your children feel confident to try new things, learn to think outside the box, and discover a genuine excitement for learning that stays with them forever. Together with our amazing staff and all of you, we are helping our Wildcats build the skills, strong academic habits, and character they need to thrive.
What’s New This Year
We have some wonderful updates and initiatives lined up to make this year our most dynamic one yet:

Our New Theme: Wildcats in Motion! This year, our school-wide theme is Wildcats in Motion. We’ll be using this theme to focus on keeping our momentum going—helping our students constantly move forward, grow their minds, and stay actively engaged in everything they do.

Curriculum-Aligned Field Trips Learning at Cromer goes far beyond the classroom walls. This year, we are launching brand-new, hands-on field trips specifically designed to connect directly with what students are learning in class. These experiences will bring our science, social studies, and reading lessons to life in the real world.

Deeper Family Connections We know that students thrive when home and school work as a team. Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, we are expanding our family engagement opportunities. Look out for a mix of daytime and evening events designed to keep you connected, involved, and celebrated as a huge part of your child's educational journey.
