****PLEASE NOTE: This field trip was rescheduled to Feb 25th due to weather conditions*** This school year, the District has changed its policy regarding field trip chaperones. This year, everyone who chaperones field trips, even parents/guardians, must become an approved volunteer with the district. This change helps ensure the safety and security of all students, staff, and volunteers during school-sponsored events. The approval process can take several days, so be sure to get started early! You can find all the details here: https://cromer.fusd1.org/volunteer To become an approved FUSD Volunteer: 1. Register for Axe of Service. Once registered, search for “Cromer Elementary School” under Agencies and respond to the "Field Trip Chaperone" volunteer need. 2. Complete the FUSD Volunteer Form online. When asked about Volunteer Level, please select Level 2 Volunteer. 3. Complete the BIB Background Check online. Please note this can take 5-7 days to process after you've submitted it. After completing all the steps above, please wait for an email from the FUSD HR department indicating you've been approved. HR will also notify Cromer once you are cleared to begin volunteering.
